Julia Taylor, LCSW
Julia Taylor is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). As a therapist, she hopes to create a safe, welcoming environment for each of her clients. Whether you are starting therapy for the first time or returning after a time away, it is important to her that you feel comfortable discussing your problems or concerns. The process of confronting life’s problems and discovering truths about oneself can be difficult, and she will be there to listen to you and provide support throughout your journey. Using a collaborative approach as both client and therapist, you both will work to find the best course of treatment for you personally.
She believes that it is important to incorporate a holistic approach when working with clients in order to comprehend what life truly looks like for the people that she works with. She considers each of her clients to be the experts of their own life and experiences. She will look to you for understanding of who you are – your culture, background, identity, relationships, and life environments. Each person that she works with is unique and she will honor and respect you and your unique perspective on life. Ultimately, it is her hope that you can work together to identify what it means for you to live a life worth living.
